Spring is on the horizon and that means plenty of fruits and veggies will be in season! Along with having richer flavors, eating seasonal produce can give your body additional nutrients.

Asparagus

Along with being delicious, this stalky spring vegetable is also a healthful addition to your diet. Asparagus is a great source of vitamins A, B, C, and K while also being an excellent source of dietary fiber and potassium. Whether you prefer your asparagus grilled, oven roasted, or sauteed—it can give any meal a healthful boost.

Strawberries

This sweet red berry is also in season during the spring months. Packed with vitamin C and potassium, strawberries help your body to fight off infection and supplement your immune system.
